Run Rules

This page describes the rules of the time series and attributes controls. You can enable/disable as well as add custom rules. The time series controls are:

• Individuals (IndChart)
• Moving Range (MovRngChart)
• Moving Average (MovAvgChart)
• Xbar (XbarChart)
• Range (RangeChart)
• Standard Deviation (StdDevChart)
• RMS Deviation (RMSDevChart)

The rules for the time series controls are located at the series and limit range level. The rules for the attributes series controls are located at the series level and the controls are:

• c-Chart (cChart)
• np-Chart (npChart)
• p-Chart (pChart)
• u-Chart (uChart)

A rule of the controls is of the following type:

• ChartRule

The first step is to include the necessary namespaces for the controls and add a new time series or add a new attributes series.

Built-in Rules

The table below describes the rules that are built-in to the controls. These rules may be modifed, such as changing the limit and run/fail lengths, or new rules may be added.

Events

When a rule fails, an event is fired. The event can be captured at the control or series level. The event is of the following type:
